Picking Your Epicenter System Administrator

The Epicenter System Administrator is the most crucial role within the setup process. It’s important to choose someone who is dedicated to fulfilling these responsibilities.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITY:
The Epicenter System Administrator will be responsible for becoming extensively knowledgeable in how to manage Epicenter by using the different administration screens.  With this extensive knowledge, the Epicenter System Administrator, will be able to successfully implement, launch and manage Epicenter for the organization.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
●Assist with the setup and implementation of Epicenter
●Ongoing management of Epicenter:
          ▪Adding and updating the Schools, Boards and Management Organizations
          ▪Maintaining submission types and the calendar of requirements
          ▪Manage users, security and permissions
          ▪Reviewing and approving of Submissions, if applicable
●Advises and consults with other departments within the organization
●Provides user support and training by telephone and/or email
●Keeps leadership informed of performance

CANDIDATE EXPECTATIONS:
●Is able to quickly learn computer software programs
●Possesses effective/strong oral and written communication skills
●Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills
●Is organized and detailed orientated
●Is able to take initiative and troubleshoot
●Possesses moderate computer and applications skills (MS Office, including MS Word and Excel)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
●Knowledge of the organization’s processes and requirements
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
●Associates Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline
●Prior experience with implementing and managing a software program
●Project management
 
TIME COMMITMENT:
You can expect this position to require daily usage of Epicenter.
