Edit Submissions after the Due Date or Status Change

If the due date has passed or the original status of the submission has been changed and you would like to put the submission back in Edit Mode, this help article provides the steps for the System Administrators from the licensing organization. Follow these steps to revise the due date and/or change the status back to the original status.



Revising the Due Date (Compliance Submissions Only): If the submission was uploaded using a compliance requirement and the due date has passed, follow the steps below to revise the due date:

  1. Access  Compliance Center.

  2. Select the  Tab.

  3. Adjust the , , and/or  filters to bring up the requirement that needs to be edited.
     
  4. Select the requirement's  icon.
     
  5. Near the bottom of the page, select the " Override Master Dates" box and enter a due date that is today or in the future.
     
  6. Click  .
If the submission’s status hasn’t changed since it was first uploaded, you should now see the editing options (/ [Replace]/  [Remove]) when viewing the submission. If the submission’s status has also changed, proceed to the next steps below. 



Changing the Submission Status Back to the Original Status: If the Submission has gone through review and/or approval and the status has changed from original status it was given upon upload, follow the steps below to revise the status back to its original state:


Option #1 - Compliance Center: If you are still on the requirement in Compliance Center, complete the steps below. Otherwise, follow the steps in the Option #2 - Document Center
  1. From the tab, select the requirement's row. 

  2. In the Submission section, select the   button.

  3. Using the "Status" drop-down, select the original status, (should be the first option; i.e  or ).

  4. Click .

  5. The submission will now be in edit mode.
*Note: changing the status back to a or state will put the review or approval task back in the responsible reviewer/approver's Tasks queue. 

**We recommend writing a note on the submission explaining why you are changing the submission status so the reviewer/approver is aware that he/she should wait for an update on the file submission before reviewing/approving. Your note will also be sent to the original submitter in an email.




Option #2 – Document Center:
  1. Within  Document Center, complete an Advanced Search to locate the submission that you would like to change. 
     
  2. Once the Search Results have been returned, select the submission by clicking its row.
     
  3. In the Submission section, select the  button.

  4. Using the "Status" drop-down, select the original status, (should be the first option, i.e  or ).

  5. Click .

  6. The submission will now be in edit mode.
*Note: changing the status back to a  or  state will put the review or approval task back in the responsible reviewer/approver's Tasks queue.

You, the submitter, and anyone who has those permissions will now have the ability to edit the file submission.
